ABOUT US

Based in San Diego, Little Rose Speech Therapy is a pediatric private practice offering an array of speech therapy services from infancy to school age. Research shows that early intervention that occurs in a child’s natural environments have the most profound impacts—which is why all of our therapy sessions are in a child’s home, daycare/school, or community (e.g parks).

In-person speech therapy services are available in the following Northern San Diego regions/communities: Carmel Mountain Ranch, Scripps Ranch, Rancho Bernardo, Del Sur, Rancho Penasquitos, Carmel Valley, Poway, Del Mar, and more*. Speech and language therapy to all California residents outside of these areas are also available via teletherapy.

Little Rose Speech Therapy uses effective learning principles and a child’s natural learning environment to help bridge the gap between your child’s communication delays to successful interactions with family members and peers. With a foundational core of strong evidence-based treatment and a passion for early intervention, the goal is to plant the seed that ultimately helps your child thrive.

Though she loves working with individuals of all ages to help them find their voice, Diana’s passion is with the early intervention and preschool population. She finds great joy in working with parents and teachers to foster a child’s communication growth in the home and school setting. Diana believes in utilizing holistic approaches to provide positive, functional, and effective therapy sessions that incorporate individual/family interests and developmental needs.

Between C.G and her older brother, we’ve worked with about 12 different SLPs between Seattle and San Diego. While all the SLPs were helpful, Diana was definitely one of the most effective and caring. She blends child-led and directed activities in a way that really advanced C.G’s speech while keeping her interested and happy. As C.G was also receiving behavioral therapy for oppositional behavior, it was impressive for Diana to be able to make the sessions fun as well as productive.  Diana was also very accommodating and communicative about scheduling issues and was always happily punctual for our sessions.  I would highly recommend her to be able to help any child with speech therapy!
